Organiser Terms

Last updated: 21 August 2026. These terms apply when you publish shows and sell tickets through MadGigz — whether you are a venue, a promoter or an artist (the organiser) — in addition to the general Terms of Service.

1. Selling on MadGigz

When you publish a show, you offer tickets for sale directly to fans. You are the seller and the organiser of the show: the sale contract is between you and each fan. AuraSonic SL acts as a technical and payment intermediary, in your name and on your behalf, and is not the organiser or co-seller of your show.

2. Our commission

MadGigz's commission is 5% of the ticket price, with a minimum of €0.36 per ticket, plus 21% VAT on the commission. It is deducted automatically from each sale — the fan pays exactly the price you set. We issue you a monthly invoice covering that month's commissions.

3. Getting paid

You need a Stripe account, created through the app, and must complete Stripe's onboarding before selling. Your ticket money accumulates in your own Stripe account — never in ours. The payout to your bank is released 7 days after the show has taken place; this hold exists so fans can be refunded if the show is cancelled or does not take place.

4. Taxes, invoices and tax information

You are responsible for all tax obligations arising from your ticket income — personal or corporate income tax, VAT and registering your economic activity where applicable. As the seller, you are also responsible for issuing, in your own name, any invoice or receipt for the ticket sale that your customers or the law require. To sell on MadGigz you must provide the tax information we ask for: a VAT identification number if you are established in the European Union (in Spain, your NIF), or a valid government-issued ID if you are established outside the EU. We may suspend sales or payouts until it is provided. MadGigz does not withhold taxes from your payouts. Where the law requires it (for example EU platform-reporting rules, DAC7), you authorise us to report your identification and income data to the tax authorities.

5. Cancelling a show

If you cancel, do it in the app as soon as you know. Fans are refunded from your withheld sale proceeds through Stripe. If those funds do not cover all refunds — for example because of prior chargebacks — you must transfer the missing amount so every fan can be refunded in full, and you remain directly liable to fans for the cancellation. You will also compensate us for the chargebacks, refunds, fees and penalties that Stripe or the fans' banks charge us as a result of your show or its cancellation.

If your show does not take place and you have not cancelled it in the app, fans can report it for 14 days after the show date. If we confirm the show did not happen, we may declare it cancelled and refund fans as above — and if your payout has already been released, you must return the amount needed to cover the refunds.

6. Rescheduling a show

If you change the date, time or venue of a show, tickets stay valid, but each fan may request a full refund during the 14 days after you announce the change. Those refunds are paid from your sale proceeds, like a cancellation. Announce changes as early as you can.

7. Your content

You must hold the rights to the videos, music and images you upload to promote your shows. You keep ownership and grant MadGigz the display licence described in the general terms.

8. Verification

We may ask you to verify your identity or provide evidence of your activity as an organiser. This is a fraud-prevention measure only — it does not make MadGigz a curator, organiser or co-organiser of your shows.

9. Shows organised by AuraSonic

When AuraSonic organises a show itself — advertised in the app as a MadGigz show — and engages you, for example to perform or to host it, that engagement is governed by a separate individual contract between you and AuraSonic. In that case AuraSonic sells the tickets and no commission under these terms applies.

10. Suspension and changes

We may suspend selling for accounts that break these terms or create risk for fans. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Spanish law governs; the courts of Madrid have jurisdiction except where the law provides otherwise.

11. Attendee data

Through MadGigz you see the minimum needed to run your show: the tickets sold and their check-in status, not fans' contact details. Anything you learn about attendees may be used only to operate the event — not for marketing or any other purpose — unless you obtain the fans' consent yourself, in which case you are the data controller for that use.
